Do you need to be treated if your blood pressure fluctuates greatly?
Some people have a normal blood pressure at times, but then suddenly (sometimes without apparent cause) quite high blood pressure levels. Sometimes this is with complaints such as dizziness, nausea, restlessness, headaches, etc. connected.
Whether a treatment is advisable or may already have other measures such as weight loss and exercise, or whether a drug treatment is necessary, is not so easy to answer. Long-term blood pressure measurement can help to assess how often and when there is a rise in blood pressure.
